Fun technique .....

Happy Friday everyone !!!! 

I couldn't wait to share this super, super fun card I created today ( I was on a card making spree , completed 4 cards today ) !!! I was inspired by the super talented (ok.. I am using the word super a lot ,lol ) Kristina ~ K Werner Designs  . She created a this beautiful background for her card , it was a galaxy and she used Distress Inks . I knew I would be using this fun stamp set from Paper Smooches Space Cadet . I think it goes perfect with this technique . I then chose the colors I would be using ~ and began the super fun process of creating my background . 

I really love this technique !!!! 

You know when I love something , you will likely see it again !!!!

Hi everyone !!! 

I am back today to share a quick and fun card I created today using one of my 

Lawn Fawn stamp sets .  I recently purchased the super cute 6x6 paper pads : Let's Polka, Mon Amie and Beach Side Pint-Sized Patterns ( I LOVE these) . I really couldn't wait to use these ( I am a paper hoarder as well ) . So, I thought to myself since these are made by Lawn Fawn ... let me pull out a stamp set from them as well ! I purchased this set from Butterfly Reflections (THANK YOU ) great service and super fast shipping  !~!!!! 

Onto the card I created ,lol !!! I knew I would be using the paper from one of the sets , and I ended up going with the  Let's Polka, Mon Amie paper pad . I love the patterns and colors !!! Makes creating with these super easy !!! I am happy to  have come across a blog called Lawnscaping Challenges , it's about working with your Lawn Fawn stamps ~ I knew it was the perfect chance to create . The challenge is to use Distress Inks . I colored my images with Tim Holtz Distress Inks .

Easter and Frame Challenge ....

Happy Monday everyone !!! 

Today we are in the second week of our linky party at Craftin' Desert Divas ,

 and it is the start of a new challenge at BBTB2. 

It is my turn to choose the theme for BBTB2 ,

 and I chose the theme "FRAME IT " use any Cricut frame(s) 

on your project and make sure to share it with us !!! 

The theme of the linky party for Craftin' Desert Divas is Easter .

 I decided to create a card and combine both of the themes . I used the Cricut Fancy Frames and Elegant Edges cartridges to create the frames for my Easter card . I then stamped the images from the Craftin' Desert Divas Deer Friends and Hunny Bunny onto vellum and heat embossed with gold embossing powder . I then colored them using Copic markers. 

I am on a gold spree at the moment ,

 as I am sure you can tell by the last couple of cards I have created . 

I loved it with the colors from this paper by Dear Lizzy.
