CDD Mirror Stamping with Happy Trails .....

Hello and happy Friday everyone !! 

Mayra here from Mayras Designs 

with today's post . 

Today I am sharing a post about Mirror Stamping . 

I hope you have been enjoying the series . 

Everyone does it in their own way . 

I must admit this is not one of my strongest techniques .... 

Lol, time to practice. 

I began by stamping the cute fire truck image 

from the Happy Trails stamp set using Memento 

Black Ink onto my cardstock . I did one the way it should go . 

Then I re-inked the image using the same ink, then 

stamped it onto a piece of acetate . 

I then carefully placed the acetate onto my cardstock and pressed down 

across the image . It will not be as clear and crisp as 

direct stamp to paper. 

I colored the images using Copic markers . 

For the red areas I began with R89, R46 , R27, R24, R17, 

R14 and R05 . I also added a bit of E18 . For the black area I used 100 Black . 

I went over the lighter areas of my mirrored image with 

a black pen .

I am stopping by to share a card I created 

for the Craftin Desert Divas Mini Release . 

There is a new Holiday Borders dies set 

and the new Balloon Parade stamp set . 

For my card I used the 

Building Dies . 

I used the same tone for the buildings as the base . 

I wanted the focus to be on the parade , lol . 

I knew I wanted to pair the Balloon Parade stamp set 

with the March On set .

the card I created for our 

Craftin Desert Divas Social Media Mood Board 

Challenge . 

I heat embossed the wreath from the 

Floral Wreaths stamp set . 

I used gold embossing powder . 

To color the images I did a bit of watercoloring . 

I decided to turn one of them into a shaker . 

For the sentiments I heat embossed 

using gold once again . 

For the base of my card I used the 

Fancy Frames .

inspired by the colors in the mood board .

I created this shaker card to share with you today . 

I used the Holly Jolly stamp set along with the brand new 

Sending die set . 

I kept the card fairly simple . 

I wanted the focus to be on the sweet little image and the 

red glittered word . 

For the inside of my card I stamped the sentiment and 

then I framed it using the smaller circle from the 

Inside Scalloped Circle Dies set 

and the 

Winter Wonderland Dies . 

To complete my card I had to use my favorite dies 

Fancy Frames .

I am so excited to be sharing 

our October 2017 Release 

Day 5 Sneak Peeks !!!

This is such a cute set and I adore the images <3 . 

The set we are sneak peeking today 

is called 

Oh What Fun !!

I have to admit the one I used for my projects 

today is my FAVORITE ... 

I love baking and my favorite time to bake is 

around Christmas time . 

I decided to create a mini treat bag to go with the card 

I created ... perfect for a sweet cookie . 

I used my go to Red Copic combo 

for the red parts : 

R89, 46, 24, 17 and 05 . 

For the Minty blue I used BG11 and BG0000. 

For my little gingerbread goodies 

I used E18 , E35 , E31.

CDD October 2017 Release Sneak Peek Day 4 ...

Happy Thursday everyone ! 

It is Day 4 of our Craftin Desert Divas 

October 2017 Release Sneak Peeks . 

Today we are sneak peeking the Holiday Hugs 

and Holly Jolly stamp sets . For my card I used the Holly Jolly 

set along with some of the images from the Gingerbread Lane 

digi set as well . 

I began by coloring my images using Copic markers . 

For my reindeers and gingerbread house 

I used E18, E35, E31 and a bit of E50 and E51 . 

For the red parts I used R89, 46, 27, 17 and R05 and a little bit of R11 . 

For the greens I used G99 YG67 , YG17 , YG13 and YG03 

I believe for the last color 

(I forgot to write that one down ) . 

I then remembered the rug from the 

Living Room Accessories digi set . 

I thought it would be perfect for the scene I was creating . 

I used the Fancy Frames dies and the 

Inside Scalloped dies 

to complete my card .

 I am super excited to be guest designing 

for The Stamp Market company today !!! 

I adore this beautiful stamp set  Feeling Floral . 

From the moment I saw it

I thought red would be perfect ... I must admit red is not my

color of expertise ( actually none are I am still in the

practice , practice stage ,lol ) . I just had to give it a go .

I created this card for the current Lawn Fawnatics challenge  #14  <3 .

I was inspired by the print from the 

Knit Picky paper pack . 

The little trees ... I wanted to add a bit of green ,lol

I am sharing the card I created for 

Day 3 of our Craftin Desert Divas 

October 2017 Release Sneak Peeks . 

Today we are sneak peeking the 

fun Angel Kisses and Christmas Wishes stamp sets . 

I used the Christmas Wishes stamp set for my card . 

I also used one of the images from a new digi set that will also be 

release with this release <3  ! 

I went with a lavender and copper color theme . 

For the lavender part I used 

Copic markers in the colors 

V17, V25, V22, V20 

for the coppery color 

I used E18, E23, E35, e31, E51 and a bit of E50 .
