Red white and Pink at Craftin' Desert Divas and Use a Charm at BBTB2 !!!!

Today is the start of a new challenge at

 BBTB2 

and we are in the second week of our challenge at 

Craftin' Desert Divas .

At Craftin' Desert Divas the theme is to use Red, White and Pink for your projects !!! 

This is perfect , since Valentine's Day is this weekend !!! We look forward to seeing what you create ! 

I made this card and lollipop holder combo .

Yes, another shaker set ....hey I warned you I was hooked !!!

Our design team sister Brenda chose the theme for us at

 BBTB2 .

 The theme is " Use A Charm " .

I wasn't sure what I would be creating ~ I typed in charm on the search feature from the Cricut Craft Room and the fist charm that came up was this circle charm from George and Basic Shapes . I decided to use this as my starting point . I then decided I would make into a framed charm with the sentiment Love You in the center . Ta-Da here is the finished card : 

I added a second circle to the inside of the charm to create the frame . It is not welded . 

The Love You phrase is from the Baby Steps cartridge .

 I added the sentiment to the center and welded it to the inside circle . 

I stamped the XOXO from 

the Craftin' Desert Divas Simply Said stamp set 

using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink .

I confess ,

I am officially

shaker card addict .

As you might guess from the 

evidence of these past couple of projects ,

***ones yet to come ***

I am 

 addicted to 

creating shaker cards !! 

I can't seem to help myself. 

I honestly start with a regular design 

(no shaker element ) 

and somehow , a huge mess later ,

behold another shaker :) !! 

We will see how long this lasts.

Recap and work in progress

Happy Saturday everyone !!! Hope the start of your weekend is going good !! Today I am sharing this project that  I am almost finished with. And also a recap of this weeks projects ! I'm not sure what happened to my blogs emails , but I was told that some people didn't receive an email a couple of days ago , so I decided to resend the pictures from this week ! I also had some exciting news (cant wait to share ) and ended up making some changes to my blog in preparation !!! I would also love to thank Stuck On U Sketches for choosing my beach layout as one of their top three ! And  Rose Blossom Garden as well, they picked two of my projects as top three !!! Finished diaper bag

Hello everyone !!! Happy Thursday !!! This week is flying by !!! Today I wanted to share with you this diaper bag I made for Craftin Desert Divas Linky Party , it's Baby themed ( if you didn't guess ) :)! I was inspired by the colors my sister used for our nieces diaper cake ,as well as the color combo for cupcake inspirations! I loved the blue and pink combination ! Any chance I get to make girly themed projects I take them and run ! As you know I have three boys , so my pink addiction only comes out through my beautiful nieces ! The file for the diaper bag is from the silhouette store it was designed by Megan Hardy ! I loved it from the moment I saw it , it can be used to hold a gift card, or real baby items as a gift, or a centerpiece for a baby shower ! The bottles ,baby food , pacifiers, rattle and baby pins are from the Cricut Baby Steps cartridge as well as the word Baby ! Hope you enjoy and feel inspired to create ! Have a wonderful day ! Zebra baby shower invitation

Hello everyone !! Seems like its been such a busy week and going by fast !! I have lots of fun projects I am working on at the same time ( five to be exact ) ! And I am spreading my creativity between them ! Today I am sharing this invitation I had made for my sister in laws baby shower that went with the diaper cake , and banner from yesterday ! Ladybug invite

Happy Monday to everyone hopefully everyone had a great 4th of July weekend !!! I think I overdid the relaxing in the sun I am super sick now! That means extra bed rest but not to me I am crafting instead ! Today I am sharing a ladybug invitation I made for my sister in laws baby shower it's either going to be this one or a zebra one !
