Hello Wednesday ....

Happy Wednesday everyone !!!

I am here to share this sweet card I made today . I was able to do a bit of coloring ~ for The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge ( really small amount ). I water colored the tree, clouds and background of the sentiment . I was also inspired by two more challenges ( actually 3 ) going on at the moment.  The first one is for Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday Challenge ~ Things That Fly ... The great sketch from my friend Jo's blog Jo's Scrap Shack . The third is from blog that I am new to ~ The Sisterhood of Crafters ( love the color combo ) ~ Photo Inspiration . So , with all of these in mind I decided to combine them and create a card .

The sweet little birds, tree, and sun are from Too Cute By Jessica's

Spring Forest Friends File ( LOVING this file at the moment) .

The sentiment embossed in gold is from

Craftin' Desert Divas

Simply Said stamp set .

I am here today to share the cards I created for the second week of our Linky Party at Craftin' Desert Divas .

As you can guess by the title our theme is :

I can't wait to see all of your wonderful creations with the color green !!

I had a difficult time with this theme for some reason ~ I adore the color green . I just couldn't come up with an idea !!!

Then... as I was going through my images I saw this adorable frog from Too Cute By Jessica's

Spring Forest Friends File :

I knew that would be the start of my project ( yay ).

I also knew I had the perfect sentiment to go with this little frog ,

from the Craftin' Desert Divas

Punny Stamp Set :

I water colored this frog ( I am on a water color spree at the moment) .

I also added drops of the same green water colors in the backgrounds of both cards.

This party sponsors are...

CDD- One stamp set

TCBJ - $25 gift card.

The Daily Marker 30 Day challenge .......

Hi everyone !!!!!

Happy, happy Thursday !!!!

Today ,I am excited to share this card I created for the 30 Day Coloring Challenge , that Kathy from The Daily Marker was wonderful enough to think of and host !!!! I can say that I have recently fallen in love with coloring ~ Copic, Spectrum Noir, Distress Inks, water color , even acrylic paint !!!! I truly let myself just relax and enjoy it . I am not worried about it being perfect , as long as I love the colors I am working with !!! Kathy is a talented artist and her videos are a huge help !!!! I am grateful for her tutorials !!!!

Here is this fun card I created , I used the Copic RV000 Pale Purple ( super light pink ) and the RV10 Pale Pink to create the background of my little skunk. I then splattered some black water color onto the same background . Not huge on technicality ~ but I love that I used my Copics to create the perfect color for the background .

CDD Hop Freebie cards....

Happy Wednesday everyone !!!

I am stopping by to share these two fun cards I made , using last weeks

Craftin' Desert Divas February Release freebies . I hope you were able to join us , because these SVG's by Too Cute By Jessica are adorable !!!!

The first one I made is this sweet little giraffe card . I loved the Longing For You sentiment . I printed the sentiment on a circle that would be on the inside of the card using my Silhouette . I stamped the sentiment Miss You from the Craftin' Desert Divas Simply Said stamp set on the front .

The second card I made was lots of fun !!!

I love watercolor , and have loved it for a while . I had no idea how beautiful it can look on cards.

For this card I knew I wanted to do a simple water color background . I then wanted to cut out my adorable fox , but I could not find the color for the fur that I wanted. LIGHT BULB...... why not water color the die cut pieces of the fox ~ making them the color I was looking for !!!!!!

So that is what I did , I water colored the SVG little fox from the

Too Cute By Jessica

What Does The Fox Say file .

We Go Together Like ... PB&J layout

I hope you will join us !!!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone !!!!
I am here to share my first Project Life layout !!! I know ...late , but hey better late than never !!! Joking aside , I was inspired to create this layout after making the trio of cards I made for my post from a couple of days ago . I just love the Craftin' Desert Divas Perfect Pair stamp set . I think it is perfect for Valentine's Day !!! I couldn't put this set away (in a good way ) .

See ... isn't it just perfect ?!!!!!

Here is the layout :

I stamped the phrases

"The Perfect Pair",

"We Go Together Like"

and

"Peanut Butter

and Jelly "

with white pigment ink ,

then added white embossing powder on top and heat embossed them.

This is one of my favorite pictures of my hubby and I .

We were in Disneyland during Christmas time,

 it was amazing !!!

I am very happy to finally have made a Project Life layout .
The stamps from Craftin' Desert Divas make it so easy to personalize the                                  cards that will go in each pocket !!

The stamp set I used is available for purchase HERE. The PB&J sandwich is from the Too Cute By Jessica We Go Together file ,which can be purchased HERE.

I hope you enjoy and feel inspired to create .

Thank you so much for stopping by !!!
