Sending .... Sweet Wishes

Happy Wednesday everyone !!!

I wanted to stop in and share this fun card I created for the amazing Kathy's

The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge .

I was inspired by two other challenges as well for the design of my card .

The first was the Sparkle and Shine photo inspiration :

I LOVED this photo ! I took the mail box and scallop elements from it and used it as the inspiration for my card .

Do you want to play a game of spot the difference , lol ?

Just Kidding .

I wasn't sure if I liked the mini mailbox so one the first set of photos I took the mailbox was on the card .

On the second set I took it out .

I think I like how it looks more without the mailbox (that's why I added those photos first lol )

The second challenge I was inspire by was the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge , it was to use

Spritz and Spray on your cards or projects . I LOVE the sprays ( I have a collection of the Heidi Swapp, Dylusions, even Tattered Angels brands) . I used the Pearl Glimmer Mist on top of my distress inked background . The background colors were inspired by the color red in the photo from the Sparkle and Shine challenge and one of their super talented designers card . We are now in the second week of our sweet

"Hearts" Linky party .

I created this set of cards using some of my all time

favorite images from the

It's All About Zoo

set

I stamped the bananas, peanuts and hearts unto the kraft colored card stock and then heat embossed them with clear embossing powder.

I couldn't help myself and turned them into shakers .

I was inspired by the pretty new hearts sequins that is now available at the CDD shop .

And don't forget about the prizes! Every linky party will have a sponsor and a winner, plus a top 3! The winner will be announced on a semi-weekly basis. The more times you link up, the more chances you have to win!! Sponsors will be announced at the beginning of every linky party.

CDD You Color Me Happy ......

Happy Friday !!

Mayra here from Mayras Designs ,

with today's fun post of the day !

I had to create Valentine's themed card ...

since we are in February ,lol .

I actually love creating Valentine cards .

Something about the pinks and reds together ... I really love .

And , I did have lots of fun creating this card .

I used the super cute

Beyond Measure

stamps and dies .

It is such a great set and comes in a bundle

if you would like to purchase them together.

I stamped the crayon images unto colored card stock (for four of the crayons ) on the fifth one I colored it in using my Copics. I then die cut them with the coordinating die . The crayon box is a file from the Silhoutte store . I then did a bit of water coloring for the background of my crayons .

The inside has these water colored scribble marks , in my mind imitating crayon scribbles .

The sentiment is on vellum and heat embossed with white embossing powder .

Happy Sweetest Day (Chickie Style) ...

Happy Thursday everyone !!!

I know it is super late , lol .

I wanted to share this sweet birthday card I created using the super cute .... as you can guess by the title Chickie from the CDD

Chickie Stamp Set :

I used my current favorite technique ( I really , really LOVE it ) for the background . I used Distress Inks in Spiced Marmalade and Squeezed Lemonade.

I hope you enjoy this fun birthday card ( imperfections and all ) . I used the wrong glue to adhere my vellum to the strip of black (sssh ... don't tell anyone ).
