 Of course I had to add a touch of sparkle by using gold .

Christmas Eve everyone ! 

I hope you are enjoying a wonderful , blessed and super happy start to your Christmas ! 

Today we are celebrating lots of wonderful birthdays . I am so very happy and blessed to be part of a super talented group of ladies called the IG Crafty Crew . We love to celebrate each others birthdays and make them extra special ! 

I created two cards for two amazing , sweet and inspiring ladies . 

The first is for Kristin , red is one of the colors she loves and I chose to use that for her card. 

I decided to make it into a shaker card ,lol (any excuse to make a shaker ). 

 Kristin I send you all the best , wonderful and happiest of birthday wishes . I also send you hugs and prayers !!! I hope you begin to feel better my friend !!! 

The second card is for Sandy . I found out she liked copper and rose gold . I tried to use those colors (I LOVE them also ) for the card I created for her . 

 I tried to give her a rosy , coppery hair color (I still need lots of practice ) . I had fun using colors together I normally would not have . 

 I love the simple look of the twine/ribbon image stamp from Mama Elephant and used it on both of my backgrounds . 

I really love the sparkle of the copper embossing powder .

Almost Christmas ... YAY !!! 

I am so excited ! I LOVE 

spending time with family and celebrating the birth of our Savior !!! 

I wanted to stop by and share a couple of the sets of tags

 I have created ( believe me there are more lol ) . 

This first set I created , I was going for a more elegant look . In my mind I was trying to match my home decor by using the taupe and white along with silver and gold . 

The second set I wanted to have a touch of cuteness along with the elegant theme . I used Lawn Fawn for these . 

 These were all lots of fun to create . As I was making them more ideas would pop in my head ,let's just say my craft room is a glittery, gold tag disaster zone lol !

Sparkle and Shine : 

I was inspired by the cute Christmas trees and fun colors

 as you will see in my photos ,lol . 

I created the backgrounds

using 

Tim Holtz 

Distress Inks .

For the greens I used Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron . 

 For the blues I used Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers and Chipped Sapphire .

 And my favorite combination Spun Sugar , Picked Raspberries and Seedless Preserves .

Hello everyone ! 

I am stopping by today to share another fun set of cards I created ,

I am really pushing my deadline for mailing out my 

Christmas cards ,lol . 

I created this set using the wonderful 

Mint Owl Studio

Stocking Peekers 

stamp set . 

I used the bear image and turned them into my version of 

a polar , grizzly and panda bears . 

As many of you know I have three boys , 

I usually like making things in sets of three . 

It was so nice and relaxing creating with this set .

I loved coloring in the candy canes ,

stockings and honey pots . 

Of course you know I had some bows ,

lol and a bit of sparkle .

 I am back to share another fun set of cards 

I created using the stamp we are featuring .

This is absolutely one of my all time favorite sets : 

Animal Antics .

The sentiments , the paw print and little mouse image 

make this a wonderful set to own ! 

 For the month of December we will be featuring 

one stamp set a day for three days ,

while we are showcasing the stamp set it will also be on sale in the

 CDD shop , 

just for the three days that we are showcasing it ,

 then a new set will be showcased and that will then be on sale . 

I created two cards 

( with a couple more coming in the near future lol) .

 I made little shaker tags to house the little puppy and kitten

from the Fur~Ever Friends  stamp set . 

 I stamped the paw image in random spots to create the background for the tags . 

 The sentiment is heat embossed with gold embossing powder .

Baked With Love .....

Today we are featuring the adorable 

Baked With Love 

stamp set . 

I LOVE this set ! 

It is perfect for anyone that loves to bake or

to give baked goods as gifts ! 

For the month of December

I had so much fun creating with this set ,

 before I knew it I had created six cards lol ! 

I heat embossed

my cookie images using white embossing powder . 

I used gouache water colors to give my cookies red sprinkles

( peppermint flavor in my mind lol ).
