Fun Folds Card with Lawn Fawn....

Happy Saturday everyone!!
I am so happy to be stopping by today!
I created a card for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge# 33 Fun Folds.

I went for a pirate theme scene. I used the Ahoy, Matey stamp set.
I used the awesomePeekaboo Backdrop Die for the front of the card to create a peek a boo window.
This is such a great die set!

For the background of my pirate scenery, I used the Snowy Backdrop die.
One of my favorites dies from Lawn Fawn!!

As you can see the flap in the lower right corner opens up to the girl pirate <3.

I added some Versamark ink all over the base of the card then I heat embossed it using the
Lawn Fawn Glow-In-The Dark Embossing Powder.

For the inside of the card, I used the Pivot Pop Up Die
to create a fun fold element.

I used the Stitched Wave Borders and the
Large Cross Stitched dies to finish the inside of
my pirate scene.

The hello from in the speech bubble is from the Elphie Selphie set.

This was such a fun card to create with all of the interactive elements,
the Lawn Fawn dies make it super easy to create these fun cards.

I hope you feel inspired to create!!
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by!

For my first card, I used the brand new Bee Happy stamp set and the Gallery Frame Dies #2.
This set also has the coordinating dies available here.
This is one of the cutest sets of bees I have seen!!!
It is beyond adorable!!!

I decided to go for some no line Copic coloring for this card.
I also used the

I began by coloring all the yellow areas with Y38, 35, 19, 15, 11, and Y00.

For the greens, I used Yg67, 17, 25, and 03.
For the reds, I used my fave combo, R46, 29, 24, 17, 05 and R00 with a bit of YG0000.

This was such a fun card to create!! Lol, sorry for the different lighting in my photo from above to the next one. I wanted to compare the difference in my natural lighting from morning to evening.
The top photo was taken bright and early in the morning, the bottom photo was taken after 6 p.m.!!

For my next card, I used the Moose and Friends stamp set.
The coordinating dies for this set can be found here.

These next photos I took in the morning also, lol
I know how important the proper lighting is.
I will be taking photos at different times of the day to see which natural light
timing works best for my area.

I love to create scenes for my cards, the Hello Bluebird sets make this easy and fun!
I colored all of my images using Copic markers.

I used the same color combo for my green areas as I did for the leaves on the first card.
For the blue areas, I used B28, 24, 21 and 000.

Can you tell I am in LOVE with this release!!!
Lol, I truly adore these sets!!

Friends Are Flowers That Never Fade....

Happy 1st of July!!!
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend so far!!
I am stopping by today to share a card I created for the current (ends today...whew)
Lawn Fawnatics challenge. The theme is Flowers, Floral & Foliage.

I had lots of ideas for this challenge. I just had to create the Toy Story themed cards first, lol in order to peacefully be able to create for this fun challenge.

For my card today I colored my images in using the Winsor&Newton Alcohol Brush markers.
I was curious to see how they worked compared to Copic.
I do love my Copic but I love trying out new coloring tools.

I once again started by looking through my Lawn Fawn images and deciding which ones I would be using. I wanted to use lots of florals for my fairy garden.
The Fairy Friends, Gleeful Gardens were perfect for this theme.
I also used one of the images from the You Are Sublime set.

For the base of my card, I used the Large Cross Stitched die set along with the
Grassy border and Simple Stitched Hillside dies.

I used Tattered Rose Distress ink for the background of the card.
For the grass and hill, I used Shabby Shutters, Crushed Olive and Peeled Paint Distress Inks.

I have to say I do really like the colors and the way the Winsor& Newton markers blend.

Thank you so very much for taking the time to stop by.
Wishing you a wonderful and Blessed day.
