You Have A Friend In Me with Lawn Fawn...

Hello everyone!! Happy Friday!
I am stopping by to share another set of cards I created
with a Disney theme in mind.  I hope you are enjoying this series.

As I was creating the Alice In Wonderland, Little Mermaid, Captain Hook cards
I had ideas for a couple more that I would love to create. I could not get this
theme out of my head...lol! It also worked out perfect for me to do some more
coloring for the 30 Day Coloring Challenge from The Daily Marker.

For my theme today I went with Toy Story. I LOVE these movies!!
As soon as I saw the Hat Off To You stamp set I knew it would be perfect
with the Bicycle For You and Hay There stamp sets to create my version of
Woody.

I colored in all of my images using Copic markers.
I will list them below.

I began by finding all the images I would be using.
I used the Dino from the Rawr stamp set, the astronaut from the Out Of This World set.
For the aliens, I used the Beam Me Up stamps.
I had to add the video game controller to "Rex" from the Screen Time stamp set.

To create the base of my card I used the Large Cross Stitched dies set.
I used Salty Ocean Distress Ink along with Blueprint Sketch Oxide ink for the sky.

The clouds are from the Pivot Pop-Up dies set. I die cut the smaller cloud several times
to create the look of the wallpaper in Andys room.

The sentiment is from the Stuck On You and Somebunny stamp sets.

As I was creating the first card I knew I had to create a Pizza Planet themed
card. Audrey from Lawn Fawn created a Pizza Planet card showcasing the You're Clawsome
stamp set and I fell in love!!

I ended up creating three of these claw machines by accident, lol!!
I was not convinced by my first two attempts.

For this one, I had the idea to create a galaxy look on the inside of the machine.
Once I finished all my coloring I added it to my card base (using the Snowy Backdrop Die)
that is when I realized it didn't go... lol!!
Back to square one.

I created the second one and had the idea to make it into a shaker...yay!
You think I would have used this one.
Nope... the same thing happened again!!
It did not go with the base and the design I had in mind, lol!!

Good thing I enjoy coloring and this should catch me up for the 30 Day Challenge, lol!!
I colored it up a third time. YAY!! This one was the one!!

For the third card, first let me explain why I like to make cards in sets of three when I can,
it might seem silly but here goes... I have three boys and I always feel like I should create three in order to represent each one. It just feels right and when I have ideas for more cards as I am working on the first one ...why not, lol.

Ok, back to the third card I used colored pencils to color the images for this one.
I was going for a playful look in my coloring. I combined Prisma and Faber Castell pencils.

I wanted to give it the look of a cardboard box.
The Scalloped Box Pop-Up Die set was perfect.
I truly enjoyed coloring each of these images and creating each card.
I hope you enjoy and feel inspired to create!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by!
Wishing you a wonderful and Blessed day!

Happy Birthday with HB Jungle Littles....

Hello everyone!! I am so happy to have a card to share with you
today. I am happily catching up on the awesome 30 Day Coloring Challenge.
I am taking my time, trying out new color combinations and even testing out
a new to me alcohol marker brand...Winsor&Newton!!! YAY... for new goodies
to test out. I also needed to create a birthday card for a super sweet crafty friend <3
it was perfect timing to get back in my craft room.

For my card today I used the super CUTE Jungle Littles , Just Sayin' stamp sets (I used the party hat from the Just'Sayin set) and the Tropical Foliage Dies to create my party at the jungle scene. I can not get enough of the adorable images!!!

The butterfly is from the Elephant Friends stamp set. I began by coloring my images using mostly
Copic markers. I will list them below.

To create the background of my card I used Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. For the grass, I used
the Grassy Knoll Die set. To give it the color I was going for I used Twisted Citron Distress Ink.

This was a very fun card to create. For the frame on the front of the card, I used one of my favorite die sets Gallery Frame #1 from Hello Bluebird.

Here are the colors I used for this card.
Koala: W5, C5, Winsor&Newton CG3, C1, C0 and 0
Sloth: N5, W3, W0

"Alice In Wonderland" Theme with Lawn Fawn.....

Hello everyone!!
I have missed you guys!! I am so sorry for my absence,
we received heartbreaking news almost two weeks ago.
My older brother's wife passed away unexpectedly.
They live out of town several hours away. We traveled to be with them.
Please keep him and our family in your prayers.

I did have a chance to do some coloring (I am behind on the 30 Day Coloring Challenge, lol).
I had an idea a bit ago while I was creating the Disney themed Lawn Fawn cards.
I wanted to create an "Alice In Wonderland" themed set. That is one of our favorite movies.
My mother in law especially loves it.

I also wanted to create a card for my friend the super talented Rubeena from A Rare Ruby
Her projects are truly stunning and inspiring!! Since I was a bit late in creating a birthday card
for her, I thought the Alice In Wonderland theme would be perfect.

I began by going through my Lawn Fawn stamps to choose the images I would be using.
For Alice and the Mad Hatter, I used the Bicycle For You set. For the Rabbit I used the cute image from the Somebunny stamp set, for the timepiece I used the stopwatch image from the Plan On It: Fitness stamp set. I used a sharpie black pen to draw in the lines for the outfits and the timepiece.

The mushrooms and tall grass are from the Gleeful Gardens set. For the teacups, I used the Love You Latte stamp set. I also used the flowers from the Fairy Friends set.

I used Copic markers to color all of my images in. I created two cards using the same design.
One in primary colors and one in pastel tones. For my shadow box cards, I was inspired and fell in love with the cards Jennifer McGuire created. You can see her video here

For the first card, I used Mowed Lawn Distress Ink for the grass areas. I die cut them using Lawn Fawn Grassy Border and Simple Stitched Hillside Dies. For the background, I began with a light blue pigment ink and added it to almost the whole area. I then added Broken China and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Inks to deepen the color.

I began to color my images...after finally making up my mind which colors I would be using (I have quite a bit of mushrooms colored in different combinations, lol). For the red areas, I used R59, R29, R27, R24, R05, and R02.

For the blue areas, I used B95, 93, 21, 01, 000. For the greens, I used YG17, G14, YG03, and a bit of G20. For the Yellow areas, I used YR23, Y19, Y15, Y11, Y00.

For the pastel version, I used the same stamp sets. I used softer colors to color my images in.
For the grass areas, I used Twisted Citron Distress Ink. For the sky, I used Peacock Feathers and
the same light blue pigment ink I used earlier.

For the blue/mint areas, I used BG34, 10, and 000. For the pink areas, I used R21, 30, and 00.
For the yellows, I used Y35, YR21, Y32. For the green, I used YG03 and G20.

Sorry for all of the photos, lol! I was trying to make sure you could see all of the details.
I truly had fun coloring and creating these cards.
It felt awesome to be back in my craft room.

Thank you so much for stopping by!!
I wish you a wonderful and blessed day!!

Just A Little Note to Say....

Hello everyone!
Happy June 1st!!
Today is the start of another round of the wonderful
Kathy's 30 Day Coloring Challenge.

For today I colored the Critter Concert stamp set
from Lawn Fawn.

I used this set because it is perfect to create birthday cards or graduation cards
(it is that time of year).

I used Copic markers for my coloring today.

For the bear I used E30, E37, E55, E31, then I added a bit of E59, and E57.

For the fox, I used E18, E17, E37, and E35.

To create the scenes for my cards I used the
Lawn Fawn Shadow Box card Theatre Add-On along with the Lawn Fawn Shadow Box Card die,
Lawn Fawn Scalloped Stitched Circles, Lawn Fawn Little Music Notes, and Scalloped Pop-Up card die.

For the owl, I used the same colors as the bear, except I didn't use the E30, E31.

This was a fun set to create!
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by!!
Wishing you a wonderful and blessed day!!
