Easter and Frame Challenge ....

Happy Monday everyone !!! 

Today we are in the second week of our linky party at Craftin' Desert Divas ,

 and it is the start of a new challenge at BBTB2. 

It is my turn to choose the theme for BBTB2 ,

 and I chose the theme "FRAME IT " use any Cricut frame(s) 

on your project and make sure to share it with us !!! 

The theme of the linky party for Craftin' Desert Divas is Easter .

 I decided to create a card and combine both of the themes . I used the Cricut Fancy Frames and Elegant Edges cartridges to create the frames for my Easter card . I then stamped the images from the Craftin' Desert Divas Deer Friends and Hunny Bunny onto vellum and heat embossed with gold embossing powder . I then colored them using Copic markers. 

I am on a gold spree at the moment ,

 as I am sure you can tell by the last couple of cards I have created . 

I loved it with the colors from this paper by Dear Lizzy.

BBTB2 ....

Hi everyone !!!! 

Happy Monday !!! 

I am finally sharing a project with you for the start of our new challenge at 

BBTB2 !!! 

It has been a while . I seemed to have lost my Cricut crafting mojo :( ...... and sadly I still do not believe it is back !!!! Not sure where it decided to go , but it sure left !!!! 

The theme for this week is Use a Cartridge you haven't used in a long time ..... 

This is what I happened to put together , I knew I wanted to use a word . I welded the letters from several different cartridges . I then embossed the bear and sentiment from the Mama Elephant stamp set with gold embossing powder . Then I added water color to the background , and I was done .

Our design team sister Brenda chose the theme for us at

 BBTB2 .

 The theme is " Use A Charm " .

I wasn't sure what I would be creating ~ I typed in charm on the search feature from the Cricut Craft Room and the fist charm that came up was this circle charm from George and Basic Shapes . I decided to use this as my starting point . I then decided I would make into a framed charm with the sentiment Love You in the center . Ta-Da here is the finished card : 

I added a second circle to the inside of the charm to create the frame . It is not welded . 

The Love You phrase is from the Baby Steps cartridge .

 I added the sentiment to the center and welded it to the inside circle . 

I stamped the XOXO from 

the Craftin' Desert Divas Simply Said stamp set 

using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink .

As you might guess from the 

evidence of these past couple of projects ,

I am 

 addicted to 

creating shaker cards !! 

I can't seem to help myself. 

I honestly start with a regular design 

(no shaker element ) 

and somehow , a huge mess later ,

behold another shaker :) !! 

We will see how long this lasts.

This is the 3D project I created. I was actually not sure of what I was going to make (lol, you know I love making 3D projects), when I came across this adorable bag from the silhoutte store . I made it into a Valentine theme.

I am here to share a birthday card that I made for my brother . Happy , Happy , Happy birthday brother !!!! Their are lots of birthdays coming up , so I am happy to say that I am actually getting cards done in time !!! Woo- Hoo for me !!!! 

Right now I am obsessed with shaker cards . I think they are super fun and cute !!! I chose that as my starting point while designing this card . Both the front and the inside are shakers. 

Here is the whole card . 

I used a card base from the 

and added a circle to the center ( I did not weld my circle ) 

to make the cutout for the shaker card . 

This is the shaker on the inside. 

I used the leftover circles from the front of the card .

The birthday balloons and cake are from

Today we start a new challenge at

BBTB2 .

The theme this week is Cricut Letters or phrase .

Since tomorrow is my sister Angies birthday , 

I thought it would be perfect to create a card with

a birthday sentiment . I use the Fancy Frames

and Create A Critter 2  cartridges for my sentiment . 

Here is a close up of the phrase " Happy Birthday " welded to the frame . I added pink and gold embossing , to add a little more texture.

It is great for a gift card and a handwritten sentiment .

I created this fun card with a snowman theme .
I used a softer shade of blue , and of course my white fit perfectly with the snow theme.
I stamped the snowman from the

Snowman Kisses Stamp Set ,

onto the outline from the matching svg file .
I embossed the sentiment from the same set using gold embossing powder .
My snowflakes came from Cricuts

Christmas Cheer .
