YAY.... I'm Back~ Woo-Hoo!!

Hello everyone!!

I am SUPER excited to be back today with another post!!

Today is release day at Sweet Stamp Shop!!

YAY !!! The bundles are available today and you can find them here.

For the first set of cards, I used the adorable raccoon 

(that is a freebie as part of today's bundle). Along with the bear

that is a freebie for January's bundle( that one is available here ).

I added flowers to the bottom of my Miss You card from

the Wear A Crown stamp set. 

I love this set so much I also used it my planner spread.

The sentiment is from the To Do Doodles stamp set.

These images are super fun and quick to color!!! 

I used Copic markers for the cards and brush markers for the planner spread.

I switch out between the Tombow brand to Zig. 

For this spread, I used the Brea Reese water-based markers in the colors Cadmium Red 

and Pink.

For the next card, I used another set that is part of this months bundle. 

 I hope you enjoy these fun cards I created to share with you!! 

I also have another watercolor card I created using another Hero Arts stamp set. 

For this card, I used Winsor&Newton watercolor markers. 

I used the colors Pale Rose, Magenta, and Mauve.

For the greens, I used Sap Green, Hooker's Green, and a bit of Yellow Ochre.

Color Throwdown and CAS(E) this Sketch !!!

Happy Thursday everyone !!! 

I am back today to share this card I created for day 9 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge !!!! 

Woo ~ Hoo I am so proud to be able to set time aside and color !!! It is really fun and relaxing !!! I made a couple of mistakes , but I just went with it !!! 

For today's card I was inspired by the color challenge from Color Throwdown and the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch . I also have had these Hero Arts stamps for a while and just hadn't used them yet .... the moment I saw the beautiful sketch , 

I knew it would be the perfect opportunity to use these stamps !!!! 

Inspiring photos aren't they ? Well, I sure was happy to be inspired !!! Here is the card I created ~

The purples look a bit deeper after I edited the photos .

 I used my distress colors for these and some water colors as well .

Fun color combo cards .....

As you know we are doing our sneak peek for

 February's

 Craftin' Desert Divas Stamp release.

 There are some super cute SVG 
files being given away each day !!!

I am actually sharing these cards I made , 

after being instantly inspired by the photo below :

It is from the blog Stampin' Royalty . In the middle of what I was working on , I had to stop and work with these colors . I loved the flowers and the tones .

I also had just received my happy mail from 

Simon Says Stamp !!! Yay !!!  

I purchased the wafer thin die "wishing" .

 I couldn't wait to use this either (as you can see) !!! 

So , between the die and the colors I was ready to go !!!! 

I knew I would be using the flowers from the photo on one of my cards ~ for a 3D effect .

The second one would be flat version . 

I used my Heidi Swapp diecut " happy" for this one.

I stamped the splotches of ink from Hero Arts 

using inks with the same color scheme I was going for.

I used silver embossing powder to heat emboss the sentiments from

 Craftin' Desert Divas Simply Said stamp set .

CAS according to me .......

Hi everyone !!! 

I am stopping by to share this card , well cards I made . 

They are supposed to be Clean and Simple , but as many of you know by my projects ~ I somehow don't know how to do CAS. I really , truly start off thinking ... this is IT, this card is going to be nice , clean and easy to make . NOPE .... not with me , somewhere along the creative process I add a bit too much !!! I don't even realize it until the end !!! So , to make things clear I am really not good with CAS cards , I would love to be as I am inspired by so many that are created by all the talented designers !!!! These cards are the best so far for me as far as being CAS . I am not giving up , they say practice makes perfect .... wish me luck !!!! 

I was inspired by two challenges going on right now ( I had to stop myself from making another shaker card ,for now , don't worry more of those are on their way). Back to the challenges I was inspired by , first one is Hero Arts . The challenge is to use anything Nature related on your project and it must include at least one Hero Arts stamp or digital image .

Once again I have to say I really tried to stick to the sketch . 

I really love the design !!! 

I used several Hero Arts stamp sets and inks to create these cards . 

I also used the new Heidi Swapp "happy" die cut word . 

I added glossy accents to the word to give it a bit more dimension.

Hello everyone !

Sorry I haven't posted all week , it was a bit of a rough week . 

I wanted to share this layout I made last night . I have some hero arts stamps that I couldn't wait to use . I started just playing with them and some Valentine stamps from joanns and michaels , then this scratch piece of paper turned into a layout . 

Those are the best (layouts), when they just come together in minutes . 

I love this picture of my son and my husband ,they look so serious when they are both goofballs. The second picture, I love because it has all my boys and my hubby ; my loves .
