Hugs Enclosed with Altenew...

Hello everyone!
I am happy to be stopping by today to share this set of cards 

I created using the brand new 

City Border Die that is part of the 

Border Die Bundle. 

I used watercolors and alcohol inks to create these cards. 

For the watercolors, I used Winsor & Newton. 

I just added brushstrokes over a strip of watercolor paper and then die cut it using the

City Border Die. 

For the second card with the alcohol inks, 

in the colors Salmon, Butterscotch, and Wild Plum. 

I die cut the cityscape from white cardstock. 

The sentiments are from the Birthday Sentiments stamp set.

YAY.... I'm Back~ Woo-Hoo!!

Hello everyone!!

I am SUPER excited to be back today with another post!!

Today is release day at Sweet Stamp Shop!!

YAY !!! The bundles are available today and you can find them here.

For the first set of cards, I used the adorable raccoon 

(that is a freebie as part of today's bundle). Along with the bear

that is a freebie for January's bundle( that one is available here ).

I added flowers to the bottom of my Miss You card from

the Wear A Crown stamp set. 

I love this set so much I also used it my planner spread.

The sentiment is from the To Do Doodles stamp set.

These images are super fun and quick to color!!! 

I used Copic markers for the cards and brush markers for the planner spread.

I switch out between the Tombow brand to Zig. 

For this spread, I used the Brea Reese water-based markers in the colors Cadmium Red 

and Pink.

For the next card, I used another set that is part of this months bundle.

I also have another watercolor card I created using another Hero Arts stamp set. 

For this card, I used Winsor&Newton watercolor markers. 

I used the colors Pale Rose, Magenta, and Mauve.

For the greens, I used Sap Green, Hooker's Green, and a bit of Yellow Ochre.

Hello !! Happy Monday ! 

I am stopping by to share this 

card I created for the AMAZING Kathy 

from The Daily Marker  birthday ! 

She is such a sweet and talented lady !! 

She is the amazing creator of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge . 

I wanted to create a card using florals from Altenew , 

since I do enjoy watercoloring , I just need more practice . 

I wanted to do something out of my normal comfort zone . 

For the colors I used , 

I was inspired by the 

Altenew September 2017 Inspiration Challenge 

Aren't the colors beautiful ? 

I love the color of the flowers , they are truly striking !! 

For the images I used the Beautiful Day stamp set . 

For the sentiment I used the Hibiscus Bouquet set .

For today we are sneak peeking 

the fun and cute 

March On stamp set . 

I can not tell you how many ideas I have for this set , 

I have two other cards started on my craft table with these 

cuties.  For this card , I decided to do something a little 

bit different (just a bit ,lol ) . 

I wanted to watercolor the images in . 

I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. 

 For the background I used my Kuretake watercolors . 

I had lots of fun creating this card . 

I hope you like the different look , I usually go for my Copics. 

I am continuing to practice with the watercolor markers .

I am back with a second post for today <3 .

For the second post I am sharing two birthday cards 

I created for some of the sweetest IG 

crafty ladies I have been blessed to meet !! 

I used the adorable Lunar Animals 

and Little Edibles stamp sets 

from Mama Elephant . 

 For the first card I heat embossed the sentiment from the Mama Elephant Surprise Sentiments stamp set . The fonts in this set are beautiful !! 

 I used Bristol Smooth cardstock for my card base since I knew I would be doing a bit of watercoloring. I started by adding the Distress Oxide Inks in the colors Worn Lipstick , Cracked Pistachio and a bit ot Wilted Violet . 

 I heat dried it , then went over the middle area again with an actual watercolor in a minty tone . 

I heat dried that layer as well . 

 I then colored up the images and assembled my card . 

 For the second card I went with the same design , with the exception of heat embossing . 

Instead I stamped the sentiment using Ranger Archival Ink .

 I began with Distress Oxide Ink in Wilted Violet .

 I did the same process as the card above . 

 Here is a look of both cards side by side . 

These were quick and fun to create !!

Emboss It 

You make Me Happy with Altenew ....

Happy Monday everyone !! 

I wanted to share this card I created using 

the beautiful Hibiscus Bouquet 

stamp set from Altenew . 

For this card I was inspired by the May 2017 Inspiration Challenge . 

The photo along with the vibrant colors instantly inspired me . 

 I began by stamping my images using Memento Ink in the color Desert Sand , 

it is my favorite for the soft look . 

For my card base and layers I used Strathmore Bristol 100lb paper.

 I then began by adding a soft layer to each of the larger flowers using Winsor & Newton water color marker in the color Pale Rose , for the smaller flowers I used my Zig Clean Color Brush Marker in the color Pink Flamingo . 

 I let them dry and then added my deeper tones . 

I used Winsor & Newton water color marker in the color Magenta , 

then added a bit of Pink and Peach Pink (Zig ) . 

 For the leaves I actually used Copic markers . 

I mixed my YG17 , along with the G99 for the depth .  

I then added a bit of G94 and YG13 . 

 For the scalloped base I used the large scalloped die from the Scalloped Nice & Neat dies from Neat & Tangled  ( they are back in stock ) . 

I added Picked Raspberry Distress Ink all around the edges .

May 2017 Inspiration Challenge 

Happiest Of Peonies ....

Hello and Happy Thursday everyone !! 

I am stopping by today to share this card I created using 

the GORGEOUS 

Happiest of Peonies 

stamp set 

from 

The Ton stamps. 

 This is such a beautiful set , 

and let me tell you I was intimidated to color this beauty in. 

 I used my Zig Real Brush Markers along with Winsor & Newton water color markers

(these are new to me also ) . 

 I began by stamping my image onto Bristol Smooth cardstock , according to me this was a 

square shaped card (maybe not , lol ) . The ink I used is my favorite one so far for no line watercoloring Memento in Desert Sand. 

 I then began my coloring , I began with the Winsor & Newton marker in the color Mauve . I did several layers . Letting them dry before adding more . 

I hope you enjoy this card and feel inspired to create !!
