Celebrate This Special Day with Altenew...

Hello everyone!! 

Happy Tuesday! 

I am so happy to be stopping by to share this card I created. 

I have always loved watercolor, especially watercolored 

flowers! They are absolutely beautiful! 

I enjoy practicing and know I have a lot to learn and

believe me I admire the beauty the watercolor artists create. 

With that in mind, I pulled my Winsor&Newton  watercolors out and decided to practice with

the beautiful flowers from Altenews Magnolias For Her stamp set. 

I began by stamping my image onto Arches 140LB Cold Pressed watercolor paper.

I used Antique Linen Distress Ink. 

I then began to watercolor using my Winsor &Newton colors. 

It is such a relaxing process, it does take time( for me it does, lol).

Happy Friday ! 

So happy to be back with you today sharing another 

water colored card <3 .....Yes I am HOOKED on 

this beautiful stamp set Magnolias For Her 

and my Zig Clean Color Brush markers .

I am pretty sure I will be using my Zigs 

on upcoming projects <3 . For today I created my card 

inspired by the beautiful inspiration photo 

from Altenew for the April Challenge . 

It is amazing !!  I knew from the moment I saw 

it that I would want to create something with 

these colors. 

I had an idea in mind ....but, the cards I created ended up 

looking completely different from what I had envisioned , lol ! 

 This was actually the second card I created , 

I will be sharing the first one tomorrow

 (lol, the order I took my photos in determined which one I ended up sharing today ) . 

 I die cut my base and scalloped layer using Craftin Desert Divas Fancy Frames Dies . 

I decided to use Canon WaterColor Cold Press paper for these cards. 

I stamped my images using Memento Ink in Desert Sand. 

I then colored the images in using my Zigs.

 I will list the colors below <3.

Magnolias Planner Spread and Card ....

Happy Tuesday everyone !!!

I am back today to share a card ,well two cards ,lol.

I really love this color combination.

It started with my planner spread .

I began by stamping the beautiful magnolias from the

Altenew (can you believe this is my first Altenew stamp set )

Magnolias For Her stamp set .

I used my Prisma Color Pencils since it is inside my mini Happy Planner .

I went with these colors because they coordinate with the colors already

on this week's pages.

After coloring these flowers in ...I knew I wanted to use these

for a card . That is how the idea came for the card with the

Magnolia. Then I decided I wanted to use these colors for

the super cute Neat & Tangled Cottontail Cuties stamp set as well  .

Ohhh ... and for the days of the week in my planner and the Hello on the card ,

I used the Neat & Tangled Journaling Alphas Die set . I can tell you now I LOVE this set !!

For the Neat & Tangled card I used the Lawn Fawn Grassy Border Lawn Cuts .
