CDD April 2017 Release Projects Day 1 ....

Hello and super happy Friday !!! 

Our Craftin Desert Divas 

April 2017 Release

This release is absolutely AMAZING !! 

I adore each of the sets ! 

For the first card I created to share with 

you today , 

I used the Fiesta Time stamp set .

 I began by creating the background . I wanted it to have the appearance of a sarape . 

I was inspired by the bright colors in the new Sweet Pea Sequin Mix

for the colors I would be using. Next step...finding the inks that would match ! 

 I used Simon Says Stamp Hybrid Ink in Teeny Bikini , then I added a layer of Tsukineko Electric Coral , the next stripes I used VersaMagic inks in the colors Persimmon, Mango Madness then Key Lime <3.  I lastly added a couple of stripes using Distress Ink in Black Soot . 

For the second card I created I used Rainbows & Sunshine stamp set .

I went with a triple slider card . 

I heat embossed the images from the set using white embossing powder . 

I then used the same inks that I used for the Fiesta Time card to add color 

to my images . 

For the inside I used the super cute sentiment from the set 

"When others try to rain on your dreams , carry an umbrella and dream on ! " 

ADORE it !! I added the die cut Totally in between . 

This was a super fun card to create !
