CDD June 2017 Release Sneak Peek Day 5 ...

Hello and Happy Thursday everyone !!
Today is Day 5
of our Craftin Desert Divas
June 2017 Release Sneak Peeks .

Today we are sneak peeking the
Coffee Trolls Stamp set .

I was inspired by one of the new sequin mixes being released
for the colors I used .

I used Fancy Frames Dies for this card .
I created the look of a shaker card , without it actually being a shaker .
I colored my images in first , using Copic markers .
I love coming up with different combinations ,
sometimes they work and believe me sometimes they don't .
I then used Distress Inks to create the background .
I used Tattered Rose ( one of all time favorite colors ) ,
Fired Brick and a bit of Worn Lipstick (I believe ...I forgot to write them down ) .

For the next card I created to share with you
I was inspired by the Color Combo Challenge
This is the inspiration photo :

This is the card I created :
I colored up the cute cake and cupcake image from the Sugar Rush stamp set ,
but I ended up not using them for this card .
Hopefully , I am able to create cards with them before the challenge is over .
I die cut the word Happy from 110lb. cardstock .
I then used my Distress Inks to create the stripes .
I used Picked Raspberry , Fossilized Amber , Mowed Lawn and Mermaid Lagoon .

I love the bright colors !
I decided to use the butterfly dies from the
I used the same colors of Distress Inks to color them in .

The sentiment is from The Party stamp set .

I hope you enjoy and feel inspired to create !!

Thank you so much for stopping by !!
Wishing you a wonderful and Blessed day !!

  2. Oh my goodness, Mayra! That first card is absolutely delightful. So happy you experiment with your colors. I have a feeling more combos work for you than don't. :) You have such a great eye for colors and card design. And your coloring skills are so distinctive. Fun card!! And the Happy card makes me smile as well. What a great idea to stripe up the happy. Your little butterflies are so pretty in the same colors. Fantastic work! :) Thanks for sharing!
