"Alice In Wonderland" Theme with Lawn Fawn.....

Hello everyone!!
I have missed you guys!! I am so sorry for my absence,
we received heartbreaking news almost two weeks ago.
My older brother's wife passed away unexpectedly.
They live out of town several hours away. We traveled to be with them.
Please keep him and our family in your prayers.

I did have a chance to do some coloring (I am behind on the 30 Day Coloring Challenge, lol).
I had an idea a bit ago while I was creating the Disney themed Lawn Fawn cards.
I wanted to create an "Alice In Wonderland" themed set. That is one of our favorite movies.
My mother in law especially loves it.

I also wanted to create a card for my friend the super talented Rubeena from A Rare Ruby
Her projects are truly stunning and inspiring!! Since I was a bit late in creating a birthday card
for her, I thought the Alice In Wonderland theme would be perfect.

I began by going through my Lawn Fawn stamps to choose the images I would be using.
For Alice and the Mad Hatter, I used the Bicycle For You set. For the Rabbit I used the cute image from the Somebunny stamp set, for the timepiece I used the stopwatch image from the Plan On It: Fitness stamp set. I used a sharpie black pen to draw in the lines for the outfits and the timepiece.

The mushrooms and tall grass are from the Gleeful Gardens set. For the teacups, I used the Love You Latte stamp set. I also used the flowers from the Fairy Friends set.

I used Copic markers to color all of my images in. I created two cards using the same design.
One in primary colors and one in pastel tones. For my shadow box cards, I was inspired and fell in love with the cards Jennifer McGuire created. You can see her video here

For the first card, I used Mowed Lawn Distress Ink for the grass areas. I die cut them using Lawn Fawn Grassy Border and Simple Stitched Hillside Dies. For the background, I began with a light blue pigment ink and added it to almost the whole area. I then added Broken China and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Inks to deepen the color.

I began to color my images...after finally making up my mind which colors I would be using (I have quite a bit of mushrooms colored in different combinations, lol). For the red areas, I used R59, R29, R27, R24, R05, and R02.

For the blue areas, I used B95, 93, 21, 01, 000. For the greens, I used YG17, G14, YG03, and a bit of G20. For the Yellow areas, I used YR23, Y19, Y15, Y11, Y00.

For the pastel version, I used the same stamp sets. I used softer colors to color my images in.
For the grass areas, I used Twisted Citron Distress Ink. For the sky, I used Peacock Feathers and
the same light blue pigment ink I used earlier.

For the blue/mint areas, I used BG34, 10, and 000. For the pink areas, I used R21, 30, and 00.
For the yellows, I used Y35, YR21, Y32. For the green, I used YG03 and G20.

Sorry for all of the photos, lol! I was trying to make sure you could see all of the details.
I truly had fun coloring and creating these cards.
It felt awesome to be back in my craft room.

Thank you so much for stopping by!!
I wish you a wonderful and blessed day!!
