BRI .... Beary Happy Hello with Lawn Fawn ....

Hello everyone !! 

I am so happy to be posting on the

 Butterfly Reflections Ink blog today !!!

I have a card and tag set to share with you today .

I used the adorable new Beary Happy Holidays set

from Lawn Fawn . The bears in this set are the cutest !

This set also has coordinating dies Beary Happy Holiday Lawn Cuts .

I also have a couple of cards I created to share with you
for two sweet crafty ladies .
I am catching up from amy son's 16th
birthday surprise trip to San Diego .
We just got back on Monday ( I am a bit exhausted ,lol ) .

For these cards I used the fun Costume Party stamp set
from Lawn Fawn.

 I colored these cuties using my Copic markers .
For the Unicorn I used BG13, 11 and 10 .
For the soft purple color I used V12,V01,V000.

I am also catching up on the awesome 30 Day Coloring Challenge :

Also super fun images to color .

I used W5, W3, C1, C0 to color these in .

Happy Thursday everyone !
It is my last post for this design team term with Butterfly Reflections, Ink.
 It has been a wonderful time being part of this design team !
I am super grateful to Vanessa for giving me
the wonderful opportunity of being part of a super talented group ! 

For today's card I created another water colored piece .
 I used the beautiful cake image from the  Concord & 9th Happy Day stamp set .

Magnolias For Her ..Thank You

Hello and happy Sunday everyone!! 

I am on the Butterfly Reflections, Ink blog today .
I created a card using the beautiful

Magnolias For Her 
stamp set by Altenew . 

I used my Zig Clean Color Brush Pens to color the images in...
YES , I am LOVING this method !!
I am enjoying practicing .

I also created another water colored card using the same set .

For this one I changed the colors and design . 

I used the Zig brush markers once again. 

For all of the images I stamped them using 

 Memento Ink in Desert Sand. 

For the large scalloped base I used the
Nice&Neat Dies
from Neat&Tangled

I had so much fun watercoloring these cards ...

that I continued with these

images from 

Neat & Tangled . 

I wanted to keep the colors soft . 

I adore the bunny from the Cottontail Cuties set , 

and thought it would be perfect inside the wreath from the 

Floral Heart stamp set .

For the Magnolias Card I used :
Altenew Magnolias For Her stamp set

Neat & Tangled Scalloped Die Set


Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers :
I used Pale Pink (28), Light Carmine (21), Mustard (67)
for the darker flower I used : Carmine Red (22)
and then I added either Light Violet (81) or Violet (80) (That one I forgot to add lol )
Then just a bit of Deep Blue (35) .
For the leaves I used Olive Green

I am sharing a sneak peek of my project for

  Butterfly Reflections, Ink ,

and I am sharing the Craftin Desert Divas Fiesta Time stamp set

sneak peek along with the super cute Cactus Die !!!! 

I am soo in LOVE with this stamp set and the cactus die ....TALK about CUTE !!! 

I began by die cutting this super cute cactus several times using watercolor paper . 

I used Strathmore Watercolor 140lb paper . 

I used Kuretake and Winsor & Newton watercolors to color them and the background in. 

For my sweet image I colored her in using Copics . 

The release will be available TODAY !!! YAY !!

BRI Hippity Hoppity ....

Hi everyone !! 

I am on the
Butterfly Reflections, Ink 

blog today . 

Woo~Hoo I am soo excited !! 

Yes, I really am ...you might be wondering why ?! 

Lol, I actually tried a different coloring method ....

YES !! Me !! Something besides Copics ! 

Don't get me wrong I have tried this coloring method many times before ,

and I could not get it to look the way I was envisioning it in my mind . 

I would give up (I know you should not give up ...practice .. practice..practice ) ! 

Ok , so now onto how I colored in these cuties from the 

Reverse Confetti  Hippity Hoppity  stamp set . 

Adore the name of this set so much, I had to use it as my post title ! 

I actually retried water coloring with my Distress Inks and Markers !!! 

Yay !! I am a huge fan of Kristina Werner , so as you can guess when I watched one of her amazing videos on coloring with Distress inks/markers ...I went straight to my local craft stores and purchased as many of the colors as they had available !!! Purchased the Strathmore , Archival and Bristol water color paper pads , brushes ..you get the picture ! Sat down and I was ready to color !! Here I am a couple of years after and I finally did it ,lol !!! 

I came to realize that I absolutely enjoy coloring images in with this method ...relaxing is the word that kept coming to my mind . It is important to note that I am not going for a certain "perfect" look I was going for soft and water colored . One of the tips I came to find is that the ink you use to stamp the image is very ( don't ask how much paper I wasted learning this ) important , since it has to stay in place while water is added . For me , the ink that ended up working best is
  Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black . 

Ohh and the colors I used for the images were Tattered Rose , Vintage Photo , Worn Lipstick , Chipped Sapphire and Mustard Seed .  If you would like to see more photos or to see the whole card and the goodies from Butterfly Reflections, Ink that I used please feel welcome to visit the post here .

Super Happy Announcement.....
