Crafty Monday !

Hello everyone , Happy Monday !

 Today I am super excited to start as a  design team member for a great challenge blog , Bitten By the Bug 2 , very grateful !! Our challenge for this week is to use any overlay from any cricut cartridge in a project , link it up and let us know which one you used . I am also happy to be a guest designer at one of my other favorite challenge blogs Craftin' Desert Divas , our linky party is Say it with a Sentiment ,any project with a sentiment will go perfect , and you have two weeks to come and play !!

I decided to make a mini fall banner for my scrapbook room , to hang over all my pumpkins ( I have a good harvest ;-) ) , and fall themed projects , I made small because I wanted to see how the colors are going to look , I plan on making a larger version later on . I used my cricut Pretty Pennants cartridge for the beautiful leaf overlay and I used the bottom scallop option , I then typed the word Blessings on my Silhouette ,the font is Annabel Antique Script , cut them out and layered them with their offsets , then used sparkly ribbon in between .

Hello everyone! Happy Saturday !!! I wanted to share this super cute owl bag I made from the silhouette store !!! I loved it the moment I saw it ! I filled it with candy boxes from cricuts tags bags boxes and more 2 , and I used a fall sentiment by Miss Kate Cuttables ! I also welded the thank you tag from a font on my silhouette and cut it and printed it on pearl paper ! And the embossed sentiments on the candy are from this great stamp set I won from Cardz Tv Blog !!  I have so many reasons to be thankful , and this is a thank you to everyone in my life !!! I followed the sketch from Stuck on You Sketches ( loved it ) ! And I used my silhouette for the back to school title and to weld my ABC letters together !I used my cricut for the numbers, the pencil, the banner, apples, schoolbooks and scissors . Happy Thursday everyone !!! Today I actually had planned to share another project that I was working on , but during the middle of the day I was pleasantly surprised with a package ( more on this later ) it ties in with more exciting news !!! So , I decided I would share this diaper cake ,yes another one , lots of girls being born in our family . I made it for my husbands aunts first granddaughter ! I also made the matching banner . Gift bag for teacher

Hi everyone !! Happy Wednesday !! Today I am sharing this back to school treat bag, I made for my sons teacher . She loves Reese's pieces , so the inside is filled with them , as you can imagine I was eating some while I worked on it . I made the bow with red wired ribbon , thanks to my sister in law Karen ,who taught me how to make these . The school house is my first project from clip art that I took apart and made into a school house !! Happy Monday everyone !!! Today I am sharing this layout I finished over the weekend! It matches the frame I made on Friday , told you I loved this picture of my hubby and I ! I used my fancy frames cartridge , can you tell it's one of my favorites ? Hello everyone !!! Happy Thursday !!! This week is flying by !!! Today I wanted to share with you this diaper bag I made for Craftin Desert Divas Linky Party , it's Baby themed ( if you didn't guess ) :)! I was inspired by the colors my sister used for our nieces diaper cake ,as well as the color combo for cupcake inspirations! I loved the blue and pink combination ! Any chance I get to make girly themed projects I take them and run ! As you know I have three boys , so my pink addiction only comes out through my beautiful nieces ! The file for the diaper bag is from the silhouette store it was designed by Megan Hardy ! I loved it from the moment I saw it , it can be used to hold a gift card, or real baby items as a gift, or a centerpiece for a baby shower ! The bottles ,baby food , pacifiers, rattle and baby pins are from the Cricut Baby Steps cartridge as well as the word Baby ! Hope you enjoy and feel inspired to create ! Have a wonderful day ! Hello everyone ! Happy Monday ! Today I am sharing this layout of my son Matias when he was in Kindergarten . Wow ! How time flies ! I am playing catch up with my school pictures (he is now in seventh grade )! One of my struggles is keeping some of their layouts masculine ! I love love using glitter and sparkles anything along those lines ! So according to me this is my toned down version , I only did a little inking and embossing and used ribbon in subtle ways ! Happy Monday everyone !!! Hope everyone had a great weekend !!! I was super busy, making diaper cakes and finishing my sister in laws baby shower invites , (pictures coming soon ) ,BBQ with family and a baby shower for twin girls !!!! Talk about busy !!
